Diamond Yacca Hepatica is a new generation saponin nutritional supplement. The saponins are obtained from the Yucca Shidiger plant by chemical-free extraction using an electric current under a US patent. The method allows the extract to be fortified with some components, such as terpene saponins. This gives the product the desired composition and up to four times more terpene saponins than the sterane ones. Saponins allow better absorption of other substances - silymarin, which is an important active ingredient of the milk thistle plant.*
Milk thistle is a plant of the Astridae family. It grows to a height of approximately 150 cm (5 ft). It has dark green glossy and ribbed leaves with spiny edges. It has one reddish pink flower. It blooms from June to August. The flowers, leaves and seeds are collected for medicinal purposes. The plant contains silymarin, which is used in the treatment of the liver and gallbladder; it is a very powerful antioxidant. It is one of the most effective substances to protect and cleanse the liver and promote proper digestion. In addition, it boosts the immune system and has a beneficial effect on blood sugar and cholesterol levels. Milk thistle is considered one of the safest herbs available on the market. Some people may experience a slight laxative effect at the time they start taking this product, which should disappear within 1-2 days.
